Dataflow Announces Major Upgrade to its Multihaul System

The eagerly awaited upgrade to Dataflow’s successful Multihaul system has now been released - 

Staines, UK – December 1 2010 Dataflow (UK) Limited, a major provider of Windows software today announced a significant upgrade to its Multihaul Haulage Management system. 

Version 1.58 combines all the best of the existing system with new and improved features and enhancements that have been requested by the existing users. 

A major enhancement is that Multihaul can now link directly with Palletline's Peracto system, allowing the automatic exchange of jobs between the two products. Palletline depot codes can be assigned to customer and supplier accounts in Multihaul to allow the processing of jobs for both collecting and delivering depots.

A new Text Messaging facility has been introduced which provides the ability to send text updates to Drivers, Customers and Suppliers using contact details stored within the Multihaul database.  The driver can also send an e-mail back to base from their handset.

A powerful Reports Designer has been added to the system allowing users to generate reports quickly and efficiently. The system provides all the necessary tools to develop reports, including a visual report designer, a reporting core and a preview window.

The total items, pallets, volume and weight for a job can now be shown on the job grid.   The system will now warn the user when the weight assigned to a vehicle or trailer exceeds the maximum allowable weight.
